Incidentally, this is the best penetrating oil I have ever used.

1. Chain oil was replaced once.
2. The chain oil was used approximately 12 times for approximately 2 minutes each.
3. Lower unit oil was replaced several times only because of tower unit disassembly.
4. One chain was replaced because of a link plate showing signs of seizure.
5. Chain oil temperature was approximately 140*F at the end of each run.
6. The chain housing held 3 pints.
Master oil MX 237 performed flawlessly during the operation of the Miss Nickel Eagle Project. With a duplex 40 chain operating at 11,000+ RPM and 190ft./sec, when recommended RPM for the chain is only 1750 and a maximum safe velocity is 30ft./sec, it has to be an excellent lubricant.

Back in 1970 at the Spring Shreveport Gun Show we bought some of the Master Oil, in a plastic bottle and a spray can. We are now in Jasper Texas and have a Gun Shop. We have used all of the Master Oil up and would like some more.

In my opinion, this oil is completely outstanding and far superior to any other I have ever used.

The MX 237 did a great job in loosening the calcium and desolving the rust in the chain and spreader box.
